Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 12โ€“9:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We only waited a few minutes even though the restaurant was completely full. The staff were incredibly friendly and handled everything smoothly and efficiently. Despite it being a busy Saturday night, the team worked together seamlessly like a well-coordinated machine. Every request and order was handled quickly, with minimal wait time throughout the meal. The food was excellent, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. The atmosphere stayed warm, comfortable, and intimate even during the dinner rush, which made the experience even better. We felt very welcomed and will definitely be coming back again.

What an amazing experience! If you were debating between Korean barbecue or Hot pot, look no further than this place! You can have both at the same table because each person gets their own individual fire source where you can either grill or have Hot pot. I went with my wife and she had the hot pot while I did the Korean BBQ. Also by doing this you get full access to all different kinds of meat because what's on the Korean barbecue menu is not what is on the Hot pot menu and vice versa. Lamb was only on the hot pot side and I would have loved some lamb on my Korean barbecue options. Our server was funny, efficient, and made the experience more enjoyable than I thought possible. Possible. I put that grill to work and he was super kind to switch out my grill about four times and they had to replace all components of my grill once because the flame kept going out because I had cooked so much food. I definitely got my money's worth and at the and he joked "I hope I never saw me again!" Your food was delicious and there were so many options of meat and options in the salad bar. Hot food area. If you wanted to make a very specialized dip or 17 different dips, you could do both. I highly

This is my number one pick for Korean BBQ. One of the best features about Shabumi is everyone gets their own heating element/ burner. I love that, if someone has food allergies, you don't have to worry about it like you would at other places where you have to share the burner. Major plus for that. In addition to the Korean BBQ you can also order hotpot which is the soup/broth style of cooking. I prefer the BBQ being a BIG meat eater. The staff is quick and polite. They keep a pretty good eye on you while eating so they can offer more food before you run out, if they happen to not see you feel free to use the call button located at each table but it's usually not needed. I love this place and will keep coming back time and time again. My only wish was they had a soda machine for free refills. The can soda charge is to high.
